Global Class Academy is a Canadian brand and we have teams work both in China and Canada to help our students and support our teachers. Although we are new to the online English teaching field, we have over 10 years’ experience in organizing educational programs and cultural exchange programs for international students.

What hours should teachers be avaliable to teach?

As our students will have an different time zone, the peak time of the session schedule will be like in the following time frame:
How long is each class?

Our course duration is 30 to 60 minutes depending on students’ abilities/requirement. We will try to arrange your teaching time slot condensed and reasonable according to your availability.
How does scheduling work?

Step 1: Upon join the system, you will be required to submit your own timeframe base on your own availability Step 2: We will match students with teachers according to the timeframe you submit. Step 3: Our course consultant will schedule a demo session for you and student to access student’s learning level Step 4: After the demo session, teacher evaluate student’s level and provide an evaluation sheet to determine which curriculum will be used Step 5: We will contact the student and parents to schedule the regular session according to the assessment result
What is the tutoring rate?

Tutoring Rate: Tier 1: First 10 Teaching Hours: Preliminary Rate Tier 2: 11 to 50 Teaching Hours with 90% or above customer satisfaction: 10% increase on tutoring rate. Tier 3: 51 to 100 Teaching Hours with 90% or above customer satisfaction: 12% increase on tutoring rate. Tire 4: 101 Teaching Hours with 90% or above customer satisfaction: 12% increase on tutoring rare plus benefits.
What is the payment schedule?

Payment will be processed within 48hours after the course, you will be responsible for your own tax.
